The Sunset Tavern is a great spot to enjoy Karumba Point's famous sunsets with a meal and a few beers after a good day's fishing. Ash's across the road has great snacks and takeaways, plenty of bait, ice and fishing supplies.
Wetlands
Boat hire, charters and cruises are available to explore Karumba's endless water wonderland. The surrounding wetlands are the habitat for many bird species including Brolgas, Sarus Cranes, Crimson Chats and migratory birds.

Wild West Train Ride from 20 to 23 July 2011
120 Anniversary Normanton to Croydon Train Line
We will be celebrating the 120 Anniversary of the Normanton to Croydon Train line from 20 to 23 July 2011 with a variety of activities.
Croydon will be holding its annual Wild West Train Night at the historic Golden Gate railway station location with food, a saloon bar, music and some fun. This is a dress up night and this year’s theme is 1891. QLD Rail are providing the food and music and there will be the school eisteddfod performance, some old time ditties and a few performances from the very talented locals.
The train will run twice from Croydon starting at 5.00pm and the courtesy bus will run everyone back to Croydon at the end of the night.
